calc-i-ossCRYSTAL consists of biphasic calcium phosphate (BCP), a compound
of 60 % hydroxyapatite and 40 % ß-tricalcium phosphate (ß-TCP). calc-i-oss CRYSTAL is synthetic and does not contain substances of animal or human origin.

Space for regeneration
Macropores provide space for vascularization and bone regeneration. The open micropores allow for an optimal fluid circulation. calc-i-oss CRYSTAL features a total porosity of approximately 70 %.

Integration into bone
calc-i-oss CRYSTAL is biocompatible and osteoconductive. The ß-TCP portion is resorbed. The hydroxyapatite portion remains as a stable, porous scaffold embedded in bone for longterm volume preservation.
